yesterday was damn fun! went to K9 unit at Mowbray road. in case u dunno where it is, the nearest MRT station is Yew Tee and the K9 unit is located along Choa Chu Kang North. Theres 2 schools attending the thing. actually theres 4 but 2 didn't turn up. in case ur wondering what the other sch is, its RV. lol. so we learnt about the types of dogs the policemen use to search drugs, find bomb etc. i remembered that they use German Shepherd, Spaniel, Jack Russel etc. i only remembered these 3 lorhs. after the presentation, we went to see the dogs. we went inside the place. the first dog house has a funny smell. some of the dogs there are barking so loudly. the second dog house doesn't smell as bad as the first. then after that, we went to the dunno wad place (still inside K9 unit) then 5 dogs were introduced. after that, we were allowed to touch them. ^^ lols, cassandra's hand is being licked by them. or how should i put it, she OFFERED her hand to one of the dogs. lol! when i came to this dog, (forgot the name, forgot the breed but brown in colour) it suddenly licked my elbow when i was patting it. i thought that i accidentally poked its eye or wad. i almost jumped out of my skin when it licked me. lol. ok, today. we had the sports heat. went there after sch. its at singapore polytechnic the track there. first is the 100m race. our class dunno got 2nd or 1st. (thanks to claudia for grabbing either of the positions^^) then 200m race. i think we got 2nd too! not bad! =) then theres the 400m race. oh, btw, im only saying the girls' result. as for the guys, i only noe some. i think we got 4th or 5th. cool! =) then 800m race. ahhas, that one damn tiring. i think we got 4th or 5th or 6th. lol. then the 4x100m relay. we got 2nd or 3rd. =) cool! then i saw the guys' 4x100m relay. they got 1st! wohoo! congrats to the guys of our class and our class! =) then theres the 4x400m. i was the second runner. they say first runner stay in their lane, then second runner stay in their lane until they pass the orange cone then cut to the 1st lane, then 3rd runner and 4th runner rune in the third lane. we got i think 4th. and its all MY fault. u know why? because when xinyun passed the baton to me, (she's the first runner) i ran, overtook 1, i think. then when im near tanmin,(she's the third runner) i was so exhausted, tired. then 2 or 3 or 4 ppl overtook me! haixx... then tan min ran, after that is zhijing (last runner) she managed to secure the 4th position! =) cool! if only i had more stamina, i could run faster and then we could get 3rd, 2nd or 1st. wtf. its all my fault. ='( Oh, btw, when the race started, someone left the baton on the floor and then ran a few cm, then return to get the baton. ( u know u had to like, kneel on one leg and then place ur hands in front, this position. then when it start, u might forget to get ur baton cos its very hard to hold the baton in ur hands when its on the floor.) after the girls' 4x400m relay, it started to rain, so the guys' relay had to be postponed. then it was raining soo heavily like siao. when i reached the MRT station, my bag was wet, my plastic bag was wet (which i was holding and the things inside got a bit wet) and my skirt got wet too! wth. lol. then reached home, bathe and eat dinner. luckily i didn't catch a cold. =) ok, i want to go and search for poems ler, bye!
